A rare rectangular rope coffee table by Pierre Jeanneret, circa 1960s, crafted in teak wood with four tapered legs. It features a glass tabletop with braided rope detail below, arranged in a grid formation.

Pierre Jeanneret was a Swiss architect and furniture designer who collaborated with his cousin, Le Corbusier, on the design and planning of Chandigarh, the capital city of the Indian states of Punjab and Haryana. Jeanneret played a significant role in designing furniture for various government buildings and housing projects in Chandigarh during the 1950s and 1960s.
