About Johannes Andersen

Johannes Andersen was born in Denmark in 1903. Andersen began his career in furnishing by completing an apprenticeship in cabinetry, like many other Danish designers of his time. He opened his first workshop in the mid 1930s. Andersen became known for his experimental designs and his use of non-traditional and unexpected shapes, curves, and lines.
