The Somerset House, vintage furniture and collectible gallery located in Long Island City, NY is seeking a full time Sales Director.

This position will directly work with our clients and interior designers to assist with all aspects of the sales process - being fully knowledgable in our expansive inventory, client reach out and relations, follow up, and closing of sales including invoicing and assisting with shipping. The Sales Director will also lead the website sales, including helping to manage listings and descriptions, organizing e-commerce photo shoots, and updating. Our sales director will also have the unique responsibility of overseeing our rentals department which include all liaisons of space and furniture rentals.

We are looking for a team player that can understand the founders’/designers’ vision for presenting the brand to a sophisticated audience.
This position offers a unique opportunity to blend strategic thinking, creativity, and leadership skills to drive meaningful growth and success for our brand.

Requirements:
• Minimum of three years experience in a related role
• Interest in high end vintage furniture, collectibles, and interior design
• Proficient copy writing skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Spreadsheets, Word, Excel, and basic understanding of Shopify
