Alvar Aalto Wooden Stacking Stool
This Alvar Aalto wooden stacking stool is designed by world renowned Finnish architect Alvar Aalto, and is part of MoMA’s collection. It is known for its stackable quality to minimize clutter. Many of Aalto’s designs were designed for tuberculosis sanitariums in Finland, and hence responded to the needs of comfort, simplicity and easy maintenance. Birch wood is known for its heat retaining quality and overabundance in Finland.
