Keyhole Chair by William Fetner
This iconic keyhole chair by William Fetter can also be considered sculptural pieces as much as they are seating. William Fetner furniture was made in Hamlet, North Carolina from the early fifties through part of the sixties. William Fetner, himself, was a WWII veteran and a pilot who flew many successful missions. He was a designer and researched “Early American designs”. William Fetner, Inc. also produced sailmaker’s and cobbler’s benches, butler’s tables, dry sinks, dining tables, captain’s chairs, trestle tables with benches and many other products.
